The Unified Library of Doctors reported another attack on hospitals and medical staff in Sudan. Last Tuesday, the medical staff at the Fashher Specialized Women’s and Maternity Hospital in North Darfur were subjected to abuse.
Crimes Against Humanity: The Unified Library of Doctors reported another attack on hospitals and medical staff in Sudan. One cannot fail to conclude that these attacks are systematic, and ordered by al-Burhan’s military leadership.
This meets the UN definition of crimes against humanity: “widespread or systematic attack directed against any civilian population – other inhumane acts of a similar character intentionally causing great suffering, or serious injury to body or to mental or physical health.”
The Attack On Fashher Specialized Women’s and Maternity Hospital
Last Tuesday, systems attacked the medical staff at the Fashher Specialized Women’s and Maternity Hospital in North Darfur during their work, and disseminated weapons without considering the conditions of patients or taking care of the hospital’s prohibition.
The doctors continue: “We point out that over the past two years, the rate of assault on medical staff in the state has increased, and in every incident there are committees to follow and the authorities do not commit to the verdict of the perpetrators, and all that goes to the wind without equalising these authorities a vow or oath.”

Attacks on hospitals, healthcare professionals and patients seem to have increased and are now a normal routine for the coup forces. According to the WHO, 5 serious attacks were carried out during January – February 2022 in Sudan. In all cases, the coup forces were the probable perpetrators.
