Sudan Protesters Continues To Block Road To Egypt

Protesters in the Northern State blocked the Sheryan al-Shimal road. We will fully block the road between the two countries and stop the Sudanese exports to Egypt, resistance committees said in a statement.

Opposition to al-Burhan’s military junta is not limited to cities. Protesters in the Northern State blocked the Sheryan al-Shimal road between Sudan and Egypt in protest of what they call the Egyptian government’s support for the military takeover in Sudan. The blockade has caused major problems for Egypt and the military junta.

“We will fully block the road between the two countries and stop the Sudanese exports to Egypt,” the resistance committees said in a statement.

“Roads will be shut from both River Nile State and the Northern State, including the road linking Port Sudan with Khartoum to the south and with Egypt in the north,” the statement added.

Sudanese protesters in the northern state have built many barricades along the road connecting the two countries and have disrupted the movement of Egyptian owned vehicles returning to Egypt with Sudanese livestock or goods.

“The military rulers believe that the protests will decline day by day, but they will not as the world sees now,” Hussein Adam, a protester near the presidential palace in Khartoum, told Anadolu Agency.

Moreover, I think al-Burhan has lost all dignity, honor and identity.
He is an enemy of God, the Sudanese, and the humanity.
