An explosion has taken place outside Kabul airport amid the evacuations of thousands of people from Western nations, the Pentagon has said. The US Pentagon’s Press Secretary said the number of casualties was unclear. Earlier western countries warn of a terrorist attack on Kabul airport in Afghanistan where thousands are gathered.
The explosion took place outside Kabul’s Hamid Karzai International airport on Thursday as the United States and other countries try to evacuate their citizens and Afghans at risk from the Taliban. At least 13 were killed in the explosion. The attack was carried out by an ISIS bomber.
