MOSCOW MARCH 24: The Moscow, Russia terror attack death toll now totals more than 133. More than a 130 others were injured. The country is left on edge, and in mourning. The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) claimed responsibility for the deadly attack in a statement on its affiliated social media channels, and the U.S. has said it has intelligence confirming that, according to several outlets.

Islamic State has released new videos of the attack on the Crocus City concert hall outside Moscow.

Vladimir Putin said Russia had arrested all four gunmen responsible for the shooting that killed 133 people at a concert hall on the outskirts of Moscow, claiming that the perpetrators of one of the worst terror attacks in the country’s history planned to flee to Ukraine. Putin, in his first public comments on the event that shocked the nation, made no mention of Islamic State’s claim to have carried out the attack.

Instead, Putin suggested without evidence that Ukraine may have been involved in Friday’s attack, saying that ‘the Ukrainian side’ had ‘prepared a window’ for the terrorists to cross the border from Russia into Ukraine before they were apprehended. The fact that he wants to draw a connection to Ukraine is because he’s personally obsessed with Ukraine.

Putin’s comments are completely in line with his detached state, when he has discovered that there is a dangerous opposition within the country, which began to manifest itself with the Wagner group’s rebellion last August.

The U.S. and Canada had both recently warned Russia about the risk of an imminent terror attack in Moscow.
