KHARTOUM OCTOBER 5: Ten civilians died and eleven more were injured after Sudan’s military support forces attacked a mosque and other buildings in the country’s capital of Khartoum. Sudan witnessed the latest incident of death among its civilians following the artillery shelling by the RSF.
This week the latest round of attacks claimed the lives of 10 civilians and injured 11 others, a local resistance committee said that some shells fell on a mosque, a Health Center and the homes of citizens.
Over 9 000 people have been killed in Sudan since the conflict broke out on April 15, according to a conservative estimate from the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data project.
On Sunday, a Coptic Church was attacked. Four people were hit by bullets and a priest was assaulted. Two hospitals were raided, by members of the terrorist organisation Rapid Support Forces.
